The Friends of Fortune Street Park (the voluntary local residents group) invite you to a special community gathering to celebrate the new improvements in our beloved local park. FREE and open to everyone. Bring your family, friends, neighbours and a picnic. Let’s celebrate together!

Fortune Park wins presitgious Green Flag Award
Some of Islington’s beautiful and well-loved parks have been celebrated in the 2024 Green Flag Awards – with 13 awards for council-run green spaces and five for community spaces.
Cllr Rowena Champion, Islington Council’s Executive Member for Environment, Air Quality, and Transport, said: … “We are working hard to make our parks more accessible, welcoming, and attractive. The Green Flag awards are a fantastic way to recognise the hard work and dedication of the council and community groups; its a win for everyone who volunteers their time.
